VinFast Sony RideVu

VinFast Sony RideVu

VinFast Auto is on course to become one of the world’s fastest-growing and best electric vehicle manufacturers. Even though VinFast is a young company, it is striving to bring customers some of the best features and technology at a quality price. The young EV company is known for its attractive styling and simple yet luxurious interiors, and now it has launched its latest partnership with Sony with its RIDEVU technology.

What Is RIDEVU?

RIDEVU is Sony Pictures Entertainment’s all-new in-car entertainment service, which will be free for VinFast owners with the VF Connect Package. VF8 owners in the United States can register to get access to the service via an over-the-air update as part of the new software version 9.6.1.11.

A Word From VinFast

When asked about this new service, David Duncan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, “We are thrilled to be the world’s first automobile manufacturer to officially launch RIDEVU, offering an engaging entertainment experience for our U.S. customers. I believe that as a smart and green mobility solution, the VinFast VF 8 will deliver a convenient and enjoyable experience to customers wherever their journey takes them.”

Over 2,000 Movies

For an entire year, VinFast customers will have access to more than 2,000 movies, which will be updated and expanded over time. Passengers can watch up to 100 movies as many times as they like. Those who want to watch the latest movie releases can do so with redeemed credits, which can be purchased or rented via the app.

Multiple Ways To Watch

All passengers can stream the same or different content to their iPhone or Android device while in the car. If the vehicle is parked, then the content can be streamed on the central display for all to see.

A Word From Sony

Echoing Mr. Duncan’s statement, Pete Wood, SVP, Digital Sales, Distribution, Sony Pictures Entertainment said, Sony Pictures is excited to be working with VinFast for the debut of the RIDEVU service. We are confident that RIDEVU will redefine video entertainment for the automotive industry, beginning with a best-in-class experience for VinFast drivers and passengers.”

Debuting In The VF9

The 2024 VF9 will launch with the RIDEVU feature when it goes on sale later this year. For customers in Canada, VinFast and Sony have promised the feature will be available soon.
